Kung-fu’s game Sifu won’t be released on February 22, 2022, but it’s not actually postponed, but it is postponing its release to an earlier date.
Whenever in the world of video games there is a change in the launch date of a game, we usually write about delays. But there are really rare cases where some publishers / studios postpone the release of their game to an earlier date than planned. This is exactly the situation with the fighting game Sifu.
Sifu game release date
Instead of February 22, 2022, Sifu will slap his opponents two weeks earlier – Feb 8, 2022 on PS4, PS5, and PC. Developer Slocap says they are doing well with the development schedule, but that the main reason for Sifu’s earlier launch is the opportunity for players to play the game before some other, high-budget games arrive the same month. And those other games are Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring, among others.
Sifu definitely has no plans to be big plays like the ones mentioned above, but with his fighting system he managed to interest the community of players. Reactions to the depictions of this game are mostly positive, and it is supported by the fact that today there are not many martial arts games on the market in which one character is kung fu ask dozens of enemies around him.
