Sony has confirmed that it will be possible to play PlayStation games in their car

Sony and Honda have confirmed that the upcoming Afeela 1 car will have the option to play PlayStation games remotely.

When Sony and Honda introduced the Afeela electric car in a joint venture, one of the cool features was to control the car using the DualSense controller. Call me old-fashioned, but I don’t see why anyone would want to drive an actual car with a gamepad. Fortunately, Sony also has some clever ideas for connecting the car to the PlayStation.

Confirmed that it will Aphela 1 to be the first car in the world that will support Remote Playthat is, remote connection to PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles. So, they will be able to stream games from PlayStation consoles from any distance.

Of course, the console must be turned on at home (or at least put in Rest mode), while the car itself must be connected to the Internet with a recommended speed of 15 Mbps.

Support for now only stops at the Remote Play option, which means the Afeela 1 won’t be able to stream games from Sony’s servers, so owning the console is mandatory. In that context, it’s smarter to get PS Portal and play that way while you’re on the road… But hey, this is how you can use up the battery of an electric car and play games on its screens!
