In the city of Hohhot, located in the Chinese region of Inner Mongolia, a potentially dangerous traffic incident was recently recorded by a vehicle camera, which only thanks to the excellent reaction of the driver, passed without consequences. Due to unfavorable weather conditions and snow on the road, a heavy goods vehicle coming from the opposite direction suddenly lost control and began to skid uncontrollably.
The situation was critical because, due to the loss of friction, the truck became unmanageable on the downhill, threatening a direct collision. The driver of the car from which the incident was filmed dashcam camera, he instantly assessed the danger and made an unusual but crucial decision – he shifted the gearbox into reverse in order to avoid the oncoming truck. This one, on the other hand, did a pirouette, but fortunately without serious consequences.
