Virtua Fighter Crossroads is slowly turning into the most anticipated fighting title. Although the main campaign will have elements of adventure in a quasi-open world, Battle Mode brings classic 1v1 fighting.

A little over a month ago, Virtua Fighter Crossroads was announced as an open-world fighting adventure. It was a surprise because all the previous Virtua Fighter games were classic fighting titles with 1 on 1 combat. However, studio Ryu Ga Gotoku confirmed that the famous 1 on 1 fighting will be in the game’s Battle mode, and just today they demonstrated what the action will look like in it.
In short, the fight in VFC tries to be presented realistically, at least through convincing moves and fighting styles. There won’t be any blood or explicit violence here, but we’ll definitely see some things that Tekken and Street Fighter don’t have, for example a focus on fighting on the ground when we manage to knock down the enemy.
