Motorola Moto E30 appeared silently on the site Motorola in Slovakia, as well as at the Alda e-shop in Belgium. This phone has basically the same hardware as the E40, except for a couple of essential limitations.
This is an Android 11 Go edition phone, just like the E20 and it has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space. But that’s where the similarities between the two end.
The Motorola Moto E30 runs the same Unisoc T700 chipset as the Moto E40, which runs on full Android (although it has the advantage of 4GB of RAM). And that’s not all. All three models have a 6.5 ”IPS LCD with 720p + resolution (20: 9), but the E30 and E40 screens run at 90 Hz.

The relatively powerful hardware continues with the camera – there is a 48 MP sensor on the back, 0.8 μm pixels (1.6 μm with 4-in-1 binning) and an aperture of f / 1.8. It may not sound amazing, but there are no other phones from the Go edition that can match it. This camera can record video in 1080p at 30 fps.
It also has a rear camera, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth camera. The selfie camera is also more interesting – it has an 8 MP sensor and is located inside the hole. That’s at least nicer than the notch on the E20, he transmits GSM Arena.
Moto E40 battery life
What’s more, the phone offers a large 5,000 mAh battery with “more than 40 hours” of battery life, according to official numbers. However, it is not fast charging as it only goes up to 10W.
A few other good things should be mentioned such as the fingerprint reader mounted on the back, the 3.5 mm headphone jack and the water resistance (IP52). The body of the phone is made of plastic and weighs 198 g.
The only major drawbacks of the Moto E30 compared to the Moto E40 are 2GB of RAM and 32GB of memory. Although, there are solutions for the latter, you can put a microSD card that has a special place on the card slot plus space for two nano-SIM cards.
This is a 4G phone with support for Wi-Fi b / g (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. However, it lacks NFC (as with the E40). GPS, GLONASS and Galileo are supported for positioning.
Motorola Moto E30 and E40 Price
There is no price shown for the Moto E30 and Moto E40 on the official Motorola website in Slovakia, but Aldi Belgium states the price of 100 euros or around 115 USD. However, it seems that they do not have it in stock yet.
