WhatsApp introduced a bunch of new options: PDF editing, music statuses…

Meta announced the introduction of new features within its WhatsApp communication application, with the aim of easier integration with other applications and devices that users use every day. One of the key announced news refers to iPad users. After last year’s presentation of WhatsApp for iPad, direct registration and account creation on the tablet itself is now possible, without the need to connect it to a smartphone.

In addition to the changes to the tablets, the car experience via CarPlay and Android Auto has also been refreshed. Users are now able to listen to and reply to messages, make calls, view call history and access favorites – all this directly from the screen in the car, without the need to reach for a mobile phone.

Functionality for working with documents has also been improved. Users can now open PDF files directly in the conversation on the desktop interface, without first downloading. Thanks to the integration with the Adobe Acrobat tool, minor changes are possible, such as marking and adding notes within itself cottage.

The latest news is about expressing yourself via WhatsApp Status. Within that feature, it’s now possible to easily share songs directly from the Apple Music or Spotify apps in a few taps (if WhatsApp statuses mean anything in your life). The company states that the gradual introduction of all the mentioned options has already started, so it is expected that they will reach our market in the next few days.
