An upgraded version of the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution technology will be available from tomorrow, and the improvements have been confirmed for a total of 11 games.

If you have a PlayStation 5 Pro console, when you rub your eyes tomorrow morning you will see graphics in some games look sharper.
Sony confirmed that the expected nupgrade of PSSR upscaling technology is arriving at the system level, and 11 different games will be upgraded at the same time. Among the titles that will receive support for enhanced PSSR tomorrow will be the following games:
- Alan Wake 2
- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
- Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II
- Silent Hill 2
- Silent Hill f
- Nioh 3
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- Dragon’s Dogma II
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- Rise of the Ronin
- Control
In addition to these games, Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be added to the PSSR update later. Of the new titles, it will be supported by this week’s Crimson Desert.
Although the clearest differences will be visible in the games that are updated, it will be possible in the console settings activate the option “Enhance PSSR Image Quality” which will also bring improvements in image clarity and stability to other games. However, don’t expect all games to benefit from this. Only games that use PSSR technology will be supported, and there have been more than fifty of them so far.
