The new year has arrived, and it brings us a really impressive number of great titles. We won’t have a vacation even at the very beginning of the year, as some of those titles arrive as early as January. For a solid start in 2022, several console hits coming to the PC will take care of that, as well as some completely new titles. Just for you, we have singled out the most interesting games that we will play over the next 20 and a fraction of a day.
Monster Hunter Rise (PC)

After achieving a truly impressive success on Nintendo Switch consoles, selling over eight million copies, Capcom’s action RPG Monster Hunter Rise will finally arrive on PC during the first half of this month. This port comes with support for 4K resolution and ultrawide monitors, improved framerate and textures as well as customized mouse and keyboard gaming controls. Unfortunately, there is still no information on whether we will have integrated cross-play and cross-progression options at launch.

God of War (PC)

God of War platforms

- RELEASE DATE: January 14th
Three and a half years later, PC players will finally get a chance to play the fantastic God of War. This great PlayStation exclusive is coming to PC in mid-January, and will bring a bunch of benefits only available on PCs – from support for 4K and 60 fps, all the way to the benefits of Nvidia DLSS and Reflex technologies. In fact, an even more spectacular version of one of the best games of the past 10 or so years awaits us, so if you haven’t played it yet, be sure to do so on January 14, when God of War finally arrives on the Steam and Epic Games Store.

Rainbow Six Extraction

Rainbow Six Extraction platforms

After several delays and name changes, Rainbow Six Extraction finally arrives in late January! This cooperative shooter for three players brings an exciting fight against the alien race Arceans. It is an achievement that emphasizes the team way of playing. Initially, we will have 18 operatives at our disposal, each of whom has their own specialties, weapons and gadgets, and it will be up to the players to decide whether to go on a dangerous mission solo or in the company of two other players.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection platforms
- PLATFORMS: PS5, PC
- RELEASE DATE: January 28th
Nathan Drake and crew on PlayStation 5 arrive later this month. Unfortunately, we are not waiting for the new Uncharted, but a completely new remaster collection, which we will see on PC a little later. Namely, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection consists of the last two games – Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Owners of PlayStation 5 consoles can expect a sea of graphics upgrades, and confirmed Fidelity mode with 4K resolution, Performance mode, which “spins” 60 frames per second and Performace + mode, which brings 120 frames per second with 1080p resolution. Unfortunately, multiplayer will be omitted from this collection.
