The preliminary render photos of the Samsung Galaxy A27 covers practically completely revealed the design of the future Samsung phone from the cheaper price range, and the biggest change finally arrives on the front of the device.
The company Samsung seems to definitely give up the outdated waterdrop notch solution that it has used for years on cheaper Galaxy models and switches to a more modern punch-hole opening for the front camera.
The Galaxy A27 finally gets a more modern look
Renders published by mask manufacturer DuxDucis show that the Galaxy A27’s design now resembles more expensive models such as the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. The phone gets thinner bezels around the 6.7-inch screen, including a significantly narrower bottom bezel that was one of the biggest aesthetic flaws of previous generations.
On the side, you can also see Samsung’s “Key Island” design, where the buttons for switching on and controlling the sound are placed on a slightly raised part of the frame of the device. On the back, the recognizable layout with three vertically placed cameras remains, but now inside a more discreet rectangular module. The LED flash is separated from the main camera system and directly built into the back cover.
According to current information, the Galaxy A27 should use a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh inside a case that is only 7.9 mm thick, while support for 25 W fast charging is also mentioned. Samsung is reportedly also preparing an improved 12 MP front camera, and the phone should arrive with One UI 8.5 system based on Android 16 QPR2 version. Black, blue, green and pink casing colors are mentioned, while the presentation is expected during the second half of the year.
