As expected, Fable has been delayed to 2027

Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games have confirmed what rumors have been hinting at for months. We will not play Fable this year either.

Xbox’s dream year, in which they were supposed to launch games from their four flagship series for the 25th anniversary, will not happen with a full line-up. Forza Horizon 6 had a good start, Gears of War: E-Day and Halo: Campaign Evolved still have a chance to come out this year, but news has just arrived that Fable transferred to next year.

More precisely, the second month of 2027.

Xbox head of content Matt Booty said the game is in great shape and the team has a lot of confidence in it. However, they decided that they would the project should have its moment on the marketwhich will not be shared with Call of Duty, GTA 6 and other big names this fall.
