HKC announced today that during the American CES 2026 fair, it will display the world’s first monitor that uses RGB Mini-LED technology. The teaser announcement reads: “Let the world see true color.” For now, however, no technical specifications have been revealed.
RGB Mini-LED means that each individual light point has a red, green and blue LED component. They can light up individually, but can also be combined in white or other shades.

Compared to classic Mini-LED solutions that use white LEDs, this represents a major technological milestone, the transition from monochrome backlighting to multi-color, with significantly more precise control of the intensity and hue of the lighting.
With this approach, Mini-LED backlighting evolves from a simple “on/off” system into a sophisticated mechanism of combined light and color management, which brings significantly better display, greater control and more authentic visual effects.
What other innovations will be brought by the world’s first RGB Mini-LED monitor will only be known at CES, and expectations are high.
HKC was founded in 2001 in Shenzhen, and today it is one of the largest Chinese manufacturers of large LCD panels, reports mydrivers.
