Dexter may no longer bear that name, but that doesn’t mean Showtime’s most notorious serial killer has lost his bloodlust.
On Sunday, Comic-Con @ Home Showtime revealed the release date of the spin-off of the Dexter series, the finale of which disappointed millions of people, and the first trailer was presented.

Besides the main actor Michael C. Hall, Dexter: New Blood cast also includes Julia Jones (The Mandalorian), Alano Miller (Sylvie’s Love), Johnny Sequoyah (Believe), Jack Alcott (The Good Lord Bird), and Clancy Brown (The Crown, Billions). Reuniting Hall with original series showrunner Clyde Phillips, Dexter New Blood consists of 10 one-hour episodes.

Dexter: New Blood available to stream on Sunday, November 7th and airing at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME The plot of the series takes place ten years after the original. Dexter (Michael C. Hall) now lives in rural Oregon under the pseudonym Jim Lindsay, but still fails to escape from his past.
From the trailer, it seems that Dexter is now the owner of a hunting shop, and although he insists that he “just wants to fit in”, it quickly becomes clear that he has to hide from his problematic past.
