The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin has released an incredible video of the police chase, and it shows one suspect’s car flying over the road. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 9, after the Wisconsin State Patrol stopped the vehicle. Given that an active warrant was issued for the driver, the police officer immediately requested reinforcements.
Fugitive and “stuntman”
Upon the arrival of the sheriff’s deputy and another member of the state patrol, the suspect driver suddenly accelerated and fled from the place where he was stopped, which started the chase. Driving at high speed towards the exit to the neighboring street, the fugitive’s car landed in a ditch, hit an embankment and literally flew over the cross road and the oncoming vehicle – to which the policemen reacted with an exclamation of surprise.
After the “stunt” flight, the vehicle finally stopped in a field on the other side of the street, which ended the chase of more than seven kilometers. The driver, a 44-year-old man from Milwaukee, got out of the badly damaged car and tried to flee on foot. The police officers soon overpowered him with the use of stun guns and took him into custody.
