Playground Games has presented the first details of its upcoming game Forza Horizon 6, the biggest Forza in the Horizon series so far.
Forza Horizon 6 it has just been presented and by all accounts it could become even more successful than its successful predecessor.
Japan will be the biggest map in the FH games so far, and Tokyo will be the biggest city we’ve seen in this series. We will also have the most vehicles at the start – 550 of them, and some novelties are also being introduced.
The game will still use the festival format, but here we will not start as a professional driver but as a tourist who finds himself in Japan. First, we will have to pass the qualifications for the festival itself, and there we will make our way to more exciting categories with faster vehicles.
Right from the start, we will have the freedom to drive around the entire map, and research will be recorded through the so-called Collection Journal. In it we will collect photos, drawings, stickers, etc.
As in previous FH games, here too we will be able to buy houses. However, this time we will be able to build entire complexes on individual plots that other players will be able to visit. For example, we will be able to build personalized tracks or bases with garages where we will place all our vehicles.
They are also introduced Car Meet eventsinspired by real gatherings of car enthusiasts. At these gatherings, players will be able to display their vehicles and look at other people’s vehicles, and if they like something, they will be able to take over the design of the car.
The cover of the game will feature two vehicles: the 2025 GR GT Prototype and the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser. The game will be available in three editions: standard, deluxe and premium. The Deluxe edition brings the Car Pass for additional vehicles, while Premium gets you two subsequent expansions, additional vehicles and access to the game four days before the official release.
And that date is reserved for 19. 5. za PC i Xbox Series. A PlayStation 5 version is in development and will follow later in 2026.
