228 days until the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 – if they don’t delay it. And in those remaining seven months, we might get a full map of the country of Leonidas before we see GTA 6.
You see, internet sleuths have been hard at work putting together a map for Vice City and the surrounding area for some time now, and they seem to be very successful at it, as you can see on the official site.
In the current phase of the project, it is mapped like this more than a hundred different locations on the map. Their methodology is detailed – they use coordinates from materials leaked to Rockstar in 2022, scenes from official materials (pictures and videos) and the triangulation method to determine where something could be located.
While some guesswork is used for this project, it’s worth mentioning that this can serve as a rough guideline for what to expect from the in-game map. Namely, a similar project was current even before the release of GTA 5where the fan-composed map was later shown to be 95% accurate to the actual map from the game.
Of course, as GTA 6 materials are very limited, this map prediction not yet completed and it will depend on what and when Rockstar will show in the future from GTA 6.
