From the developers of Tropica 6 comes a new construction game, this time dedicated to a pirate theme. Corsair Cove is announced.
Pirates are back in fashion! The recent game Windrose sold over a million copies, Ubisoft is bringing back Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, and a new pirate-themed city builder game has just been announced – Corsair Cove.
The game comes to us from Tropica 6 developer and Hooded Horse publishing house, and is set in the twilight of the golden age of pirates. The player in Corsair Cove is given a quest build the last pirate oasis which will maintain the pirate way of life and resist the framework of the law.
This will be one of those construction games that they give the player the challenge of vertical construction. We will build our pirate settlement here on the cliffs, which we will connect with bridges and other means of transporting goods.
Taking care of resources and production in your settlement will be only the first part of the gameplay. Once we get our pirate oasis up to the level where we can build ships, we’ll be able to sail to other destinations to explore the islands and do what pirates do – rob the country.
The game seems ambitious, has pigs dancing with pirates, and is supposed to launch in 2026. Corsair Cove will be played on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms.
