In the harsh conditions of the Scandinavian winter, Mercedes-AMG these days is conducting intensive testing of its newest, still not officially announced model. Despite the complete camouflage and low lighting characteristic of the Arctic Circle, it is evident that it is an attractive sports model, visually reminiscent of the popular CLE series.
Twin-turbo V8 at 650 KS
Mercedes says that this testing phase is essential for checking the performance and reliability of all components in extreme conditions of low temperatures. The frozen landscapes of Sweden serve as a background for demanding tests, and their engineering teams are focused on the car’s behavior on snow and ice, testing all parts of the drivetrain and chassis. With an aggressive appearance and an expectedly powerful drivetrain, this model will be intended for the most demanding sports car fans.

At the same time, it will be the second model in the highly prestigious Mythos series, which is intended primarily for collectors. The first model in this series was the radical Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed, an open two-seater without a roof or windshield that caused great public interest.
The upcoming model should continue where PureSpeed left off, bringing a new vision of luxury and speed. The detailed specifications of the drive are still kept under wraps, but it has been confirmed that the performance will be fully aligned with the extreme visual identity of the car. Unofficially, it is believed that the model will be powered by a new twin-turbo 4-liter V8 gasoline engine, with a power of around 650 HP.
