Microsoft has suspended sales of its products and services in Russia, which includes games and subscriptions to Xbox services.
Microsoft today suspended the sale of its PC and Xbox games in Russia. They also suspended the sale of their other products and services, which includes a Game Pass and Xbox Live subscription. Russia was previously one of 40 countries where Game Pass and Xbox Live are officially supported.
Microsoft emphasizes that this applies to all new sales, which means that all purchased games and existing subscriptions will continue to be available to Russians.
Microsoft is the first major game console maker to pull this move. Sony has only partially responded so far, postponing the launch of its new game Gran Turismo 7 in the territory of Russia.
