New Xiaomi Phone With a 192MP Camera News

The 200MP sensor will be produced by the South Korean company Samsung, but most likely that Xiaomi will be the first to use it.

The sensor will have a resolution of 192MP and will support the merging of 16 pixels into one, which would work at exactly 12MP output resolution. In addition to crop images, this sensor was supposed to support the digital zoom from 1x to 4x.

All this will require a lot of power, which will be delivered by SM8450, the successor to Snapdragon 888, also known as Snapdragon 895. This chip will be made in a 4 nm process and will have the next generation Krio 780 CPU core, the new Adreno 730 GPU, and a new X65 5G modem.

Its screen will have highly curved sides and one recess for the camera. Therefore, it is to be expected that the cameras below the screen will have to wait a little longer.

For now, it is not even clear which Xiaomi series the phone will belong to. The first 108-megapixel phone was the experimental Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, followed by the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro, which is globally introduced as the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 (Pro). Of course, they had the mid-range Snapdragon 700 series chipsets, not the flagship chip.
