The latest reports reveal that Samsung will market its upcoming Exynos 2600 processor exclusively on the domestic market, and only on the standard Galaxy S26 models. The reason is a combination of unresolved yield issues, existing contractual obligations to Qualcomm and the existing negative perception of the Exynos series among users.
The Exynos 2600, which is produced in Samsung’s new 2 nm GAA process, has satisfactory performance thanks to technologies such as Heat Pass Block (HPB). However, yield issues on the 2nm line that require more run-in time still limit the scale of production, which directly affects the ability of the chip to be installed globally.

In addition, Samsung has active agreements with Qualcomm that provide Snapdragon processors with at least 75% share in the Galaxy S26 series, which further narrows the space for the Exynos 2600 in the global offer.
Despite this, according to the latest Geekbench 6 entry, the Exynos 2600 achieves a very solid score of 3,455 points in the single-core and 11,621 points in the multi-core test, at a maximum frequency of 3.80GHz. It shows that Samsung has significantly improved performance and efficiency compared to previous generations, which were often criticized.
According to current information, Samsung could officially present the Exynos 2600 in January 2026, but the chances of this chip appearing outside of South Korea remain minimal, reports Wccftech.
