Saros will not force us to switch from the very beginning

The Housemarque development team has explained what changes they have come up with for their game Saros compared to the previous Returnal.

saros will be both an easier and more challenging game than Returnal, and the latest gameplay preview explains how this is possible.

As for making things easier, along with permanently improving stats and skills in a base called The Passage, Saros will allow us to fast travel through different biomes. While in Returnal we always went from the very beginning, in Saros we will be able to jump to the last unlocked level / biome. In addition, the collected weapons will be preserved for us even after death.

However, for players who want an extra challenge, there will be a number of options to spice up their lives. There will be modifiers with which the opponents become more aggressive, with which the game removes the second chance (revival) and the like. In addition, the game will have an eclipse system that changes the entire planet. Once the eclipse occurs, the opponents get more powerful attacks, and with it the tone of the game changes – to the point that the music starts to sound different.

Saros igramo 4/30 on PlayStation 5.
