A reversal in the dispute between Sony and Tencent. There will be no legal action over the alleged copying of Horizon games. But what does this mean for Tencent’s Light of Motiram game?

Sony and Tencent have settled their dispute over the alleged copying of Horizon games.
The case was settled with a settlement and before the whole thing ended up in court, reports The Verge. However, the settlement is confidential, so it will not be publicly disclosed what Tencent agreed to, so that Sony does not sue them.
However, one thing has already been noticed. Tencent’s copy of Horizon, called Light of Motiram, it disappeared from the game database on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The official Light of Motirama website is still available, but with very limited materials.
By all accounts, Sony has won this battle, and Light of Motiram, if it comes out at all, could be a significantly different game than the one announced in 2024.
