The trailer for the fourth part of the cult movie “Matrix” called “The Matrix Resurrections” was presented at this year’s CinemaCon, but fans of this franchise also received an unpleasant surprise.
While Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss will repeat their roles as Neo and Trinity in the upcoming Matrix 4 part, Laurence Fishburne will not return as Morphius.
“I wasn’t invited,” Fishburne told New York Magazine, adding, “Maybe that’ll make me write another play. I’m asking for a blessing in that. I wish them well. I hope it’s great.”
