Although entertainment in games is not necessarily related to age categories, sometimes it happens that some games stop entertaining us in the same way as before. What games has this happened to you?
The game LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is coming to us in a month. And realistically speaking, it’s the first Batman game in the last 11 years (not counting VR titles), and it will very likely be the only Batman game in the next few years. However, a good number of players won’t actually think of it as a Batman game – because it’s LEGO, and LEGOs are for kids.
Although it is not excluded that games designed for a younger audience can also entertain older gamers, often these older gamers report that certain games are no longer fun for them. More precisely, there is a belief that some games are simply “outgrown”.
Has that happened to you? Did a game or a certain type of game used to entertain you, but now you no longer see it as fun? What games have you “outgrown”? Let us know in the comments.
