Sony has delayed the launch of the PlayStation Flexstrike controller

Sony’s fighting game controller won’t become available next month, though. They postponed it until further notice, due to an unexpected delay in production.

Next month, along with the fighting game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Sony was supposed to launch its first fight stick controller called FlexStrike. However, this will not happen.

Yesterday, news came that the launch of the FlexStrike controller has been postponed until further notice. Sony says that there has been unexpected delay in production and that they will share more information when they are ready.

The companion game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has not been delayed, at least for now.

While it is possible that there have been some delays in the production of this device, some believe that this delay could be a consequence of Sony’s avoidance of negative publicity.

Namely, since they announced the end of the distribution of PlayStation games on discs from 2028, every public communication from Sony is covered with calls to boycott PlayStation and the like. Although Sony is persistently ignoring it, it is possible that they are hoping that the anger of the players will pass and that this product will be able to launch without that background noise.
