Oppo has just introduced its Renault7 series in China with Reno7 5G,, Reno7 Pro 5G i Reno7 SE 5G. The first sale starts on December 3 at 10:00 for Reno7 and Reno7 Pro and on December 17 at 10:00 for Reno7 SE.
Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G specs
The Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G is the best of the three Reno7 phones. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max chipset paired with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. Both configurations start with 256 GB of storage.
On the front, the Reno7 Pro 5G has a 6.55-inch AMOLED with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The screen has a resolution of 1080p and can reach a brightness of up to 800 nits in direct sunlight.
At the back are a 50 MP Sony IMX766 1 / 1.56 inch main camera, an ultra-wide unit and a 2 MP macro camera. On the front is a 32MP IMX709 selfie camera.
The camera island is surrounded by an LED light that also serves as a notification LED. Oppo ships phones with ColorOS 12, based on Android 12.
Price, battery
The Reno7 Pro 5G has a 4,500 mAh battery with a 65W charge. Prices for 8 / 256GB is €515 or $580 and 12 / 256GB cost €559 or $630.
Oppo Reno7 5G specs
The Oppo Reno7 5G shares many of the Pro specs. Its battery has the same capacity of 4,500 mAh, but charges a little slower at 60 V.
The Renault 5G also has 90Hz 1080p AMOLED, but is smaller at 6.43 inches.
The main camera has a 64MP sensor, but it is still joined by ultra-wide and 2MP macro units. On the front, it’s the same 32 MP selfie.
The internal processor is a Snapdragon 778G with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM with a configurable memory option of 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB or 12/256 GB.
Price
Oppo Reno7 5G prices start at €375 or $420.
Oppo Reno7 SE 5G specs
Finally, we come to the Reno7 SE 5G. It has the same 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz as the Reno7 5G. It also corresponds to a battery capacity of 4,500 mAh, only it charges with only 33W.
It is powered by Dimensity 900 with 8 GB of RAM and an option of 128 GB (€ 306) or 256 GB (€ 335) of storage space.
The cameras are a 48 MP IMX581, paired with a 2 MP sensor duo – one for the macro, the other for the depth sensor, reports GSM Arena.
Release Date
There is no word yet on when the Renault7 series will come out of China, but it should be as early as 2022.
