The hardware requirements for the shooter Cinder City have recently surfaced on Steam and they are peppery. Minimum 32 GB of working memory, and recommended 64 GB. In this economy!?
South Korean game publisher NC has shared new footage from its upcoming game Cinder Cityand then the PC requirements for that game.
And while the game itself looks like a typical Korean stew of anything and everything, the PC requirements were, at least for a short time, something truly unprecedented. The developers stated that 64 GB of working memory is needed to play Cinder City comfortably.
They said it by mistake, they say – still 32 GB of RAM was recommended in the end. But they state so much under the minimum, and we have not yet had a game that required a minimum of 32 GB of working memory.
Just for context, in the midst of a global memory shortage, the prices of 32 GB RAM cards currently reach over a thousand euros for faster DDR5 models.
Anyway, here are the PC requirements for Cinder City:
Minimum:
- Processor: Intel Core i5-10400 ili AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- Graphic: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
- Memory: 32 GB RAM
Recommended:
- Processor: Intel Core i7-12700 ili AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Graphic: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070
- Memory: 32 GB RAM
