The official trailer for the upcoming dark cerebral comedy “Big Gold Brick” has been released, for which executive producers are Oscar Isaac and Kristen Wiig.
The psychedelic satire stars Andy Garcia, Emory Cohen, Megan Fox and Lucy Hale, and stars Oscar Isaac.
Emory Cohen (from Brooklyn) plays a psychologically unbalanced writer who, after a chance encounter with an enigmatic businessman with a mysterious past (played by Andy Garcia), accepts a job to write his biography. The embarrassing writer eventually meets the businessman’s equally bizarre family members (Megan Fox and Lucy Hale) and his unusual collaborators (Oscar Isaac).
The film was written and directed by first film director Brian Petsos, who had previously made several short films starring Oscar Isaac (Lightningface from 2016 and Ticky Tacky from 2014).

BIG GOLD BRICK tells the story of young writer Samuel Liston and his experiences with Floyd Deveraux, the enigmatic middle-aged father of two who hired Samuel to write his biography. But the circumstances that led to this deal are astonishing – and efforts to write a biography were quickly halted by the chaos that ensued in this dark, genre-changing comedy film.
