Two new friends join forces as they try to bring back their exes in this new Amazon romantic comedy I Want You Back starring comedians Charlie Day and Jenny Slate, for which an official trailer has been released.
“I Want You Back” sees Day and Slate as two broken sad men who agreed to work together after devising a plan to win back the hearts of their exes – despite the fact that their exes (played here by Gina Rodriguez and Scott Eastwood) are already moved on and are now committed to new romantic partners (played by Manny Jacinto and Clark Backo).
Written by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, the screenwriting team behind “Love, Simon” and “Love, Victor”, the original Amazon film is directed by Jason Orley, who previously shot the acclaimed comedy of adulthood “Big Time Adolescence”. “
