Sony has suspended sales of PlayStation games and consoles in Russia

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it is temporarily suspending sales of PlayStation hardware and software in the Russian market.

Sony has joined Microsoft and Nintendo and has suspended its operations in Russia. The company called for an end to the conflict in Ukraine and announced how to proceed stops selling games on the PlayStation Store in Russia, and cease to supply PlayStation consoles to the Russian market. They also donated two million dollars to help refugees and children affected by the war.

Sony’s move follows their future team Bungie which will no longer sell Destiny 2 in Russia. As of today, it will allow all Destiny 2 players to express their support for Ukraine through a new emblem in the colors of the country and with the coat of arms of Ukraine on display.
