
Mercedes-Benz has made a special AMG G63 on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of AMG, which was founded in 1967 as an independent tuning company. The car will go on sale later this year.
AMG and Mercedes began working closely together in 1990, and since 2005 AMG has been part of Mercedes. The latest G63 Edition 55 comes in black or white, with 22-inch wheels, dark trim and a chrome tank cap.
The cabin contains AMG sports seats with two-tone upholstery and hood leather, and the carpets have a red inscription “Edition 55”. In front of the driver is the AMG performance steering wheel, and the atmosphere in the cabin is enhanced by carbon trim.
Mercedes did not mention any performance boost, but it is known that the G63 has a four-liter V8 engine of 585HP and 850Nm, which allows this box-shaped SUV model to accelerate from 0-100km / h in just 4.4 seconds and an electronically limited speed of 220km / h. , or 240km / h with Driver’s package.
The Edition 55 is 17,850 more expensive than the regular G63 in the European market.
