Tesla Motors has postponed the production of its electric truck Tesla Semi for the next year 2022.
Tesla’s electric truck Semi will definitely not start transporting cargo this year. The company confirmed that during the financial report, and in fact, it is a new delay of the arrival of the mentioned vehicle, Autoblog writes.
2022 Tesla Semi Truck Release Date
It was originally planned for Tesla Semi to appear on the market in 2019, then it was moved to 2021, and now the news of a new delay has arrived, the release date is sometimes in 2022 year.

The company informed shareholders that the delay was due to the limited availability of battery cells and problems in the supply chain.
“We believe we will stick to the schedule when it comes to producing the first copies of the Model Y in Berlin and Austin this year. “We are also making progress in the industrialization of Cybertruck, which is planned to be produced in Austin,” the statement said.
Tesla first announced the Semi Truck back in 2017 as an electric truck with a range of 800 kilometers and technologies that include autopilot. The truck has already traveled to the United States and has been traveling independently unaccompanied since 2018.
In doing so, he relied entirely on Tesla’s existing network of Supercharger chargers. Tesla founder Elon Musk sent an internal email last year stating that everything was ready for mass production, but that meant nothing without the necessary truck components.
