Not very encouraging results

During the supervision of a total of 54 driving school vehicles, police officers found a total of 19 violations. Data analysis shows worrying data – almost a third of the inspected instructors worked contrary to the regulations. Most of the recorded irregularities related to improperly completed documentation, while in one case the technical malfunction of the vehicle used for the training was also determined.

Sanctions and irregularities covered different levels of responsibility within the driving school system. Violations were registered with 17 driving instructors, one professional leader, one legal entity and one responsible person in a legal entity.

The Zagreb Police Department says that such actions are only part of wider efforts aimed at increasing road safety. The supervision of persons involved in the education of future drivers, as well as the control of the technical conditions of vehicles, will continue to be carried out.
