We’re getting another game in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse franchise

Publishing house Nacon announced another game from the series Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Unlike 2021’s Earthblood, Rageborn will have a slightly different performance.

Do you remember the action adventure Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood from 2021? It wasn’t a very good game, but its template had the potential for something better. And publishing house Nacon hopes that something better will come out of the new game Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn.

Unlike Earthblood which was a third-person action game, in Rageborn the perspective will change to isometric camera. A potential role model for this game might have been V Rising, only without the multiplayer component.

Rageborn will take place in Alaska and will follow a character named Tayler, whose friend is killed in front of his eyes. Taylor wins the power to transform into Lupus and Crinos, i.e. takes on the forms of a wolf and a werewolf. And then begins the revenge for the killing of eco-activists, in the name of the planet Earth.

The game will have character development through unlocking different powers, and will use the metroidvania structure. Gameplay will be based on change the three playable states. In human form we will be able to use long-range weapons, in wolf form we will sneak and slip through narrow spaces, and as a werewolf we will sow chaos and destroy objects to be able to access new areas.
