2023 Genesis GV60 EV Crossover

The Korean manufacturer of premium vehicles presented its first electric production model Genesis GV60.

The Genesis GV60 is an electric crossover of this brand based on the E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) mechanical platform it shares with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 electric models, so it is essentially a luxury alternative to the previously mentioned Hyundai Group vehicles.

The exterior design sets it apart from the rest of the Genesis vehicles, some recognizable stylistic details have been retained, such as the two-piece light clusters.

A look inside reveals an almost fully digitized cockpit with a huge screen on the dashboard and two side displays instead of the classic mirrors, on which the image from the external cameras is projected.

Battery Range

Genesis has not released technical details yet, but based on what we know about the sister models Ioniq 5 and EV6, the Genesis GV60 should offer two battery sizes – smaller, 58 kW, and larger than 77.4 kWh.

With a full battery, Autonomy driving is expected for over 480 km.

At the top of the offer should be a variant with two electric motors, all-wheel drive, and more than the two mentioned batteries.

The combined power of the electric motor would be 585 hp (430 kW) and the maximum torque 740 Nm.

Of course, these are just assumptions, and we will wait for some more time for the official specifications.
