Honor WIN – new silent mode and smart screenshots

The most important novelty for the Honor WIN series is the improved one Silent Mode for calls. This function allows users that certain important contacts can “ring” even when the phone is in the so-called silent mode. In other words, the phone remains silent for all other calls, but selected contacts will not be missed.

The option is located in Settingsin the menu Sound and Haptics. There it is necessary to choose Silent and activate the option Leave Important Calls Unsilent. After that, the user can define which contacts have priority.

Another significant novelty refers to “screenshot” screenshots. The system now allows taking screenshots even while the protective mask is on the phone, as well as additional editing of recordings using characteristic frames around the screen, adapted to the device itself. That way, screenshots can look neater and more beautiful when shared, reports HC Newsroom.
