It’s already been six days since Xbox’s gaming presentation and we’re still writing news about it? And although we covered a lot of things, some minor things were still left out, and they shouldn’t be. That’s why we’re making up for what we missed with Vivarium, and technically anyway we’re writing about a game that was first shown at the end of 2023.
Vivarium is a game that belongs to the genre of life simulations. We have a simulated passage of time through clocks and a calendar, but we are in the middle of a summer that never ends. The main role is played by an 11-year-old girl Jennya resident of a place called Terrariumwhere people live harmoniously next to anthropomorphized animals. Jenny has responsibilities and tasks in her life, but her curiosity draws her towards exploring unknown areas and uncovering various mysteries.
The game is particularly notable for its visual style, where the hand-drawn graphics strongly resemble Japanese cartoons from the last century. We will experience that idyllic feeling of summer nostalgia in anime style 2027 on PC and Xbox platforms. Upon release, the game will be immediately available with a Game Pass subscription.
