The Galaxy S27 Pro could become a true Samsung flagship for 2027

The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro could occupy a special place between the Plus and Ultra models, with new screen technology that limits viewing angles and protects content from prying eyes. According to unofficial information, the device will use Flex Magic Pixel technology and a screen with a diagonal of 6.47 inches.

Unlike classic protective foils that darken the screen when viewed from the side, the new solution would be built directly into the panel itself. When the privacy mode is activated, the screen would reduce the viewing angle so that the content remains clearly visible only to the person holding the phone in front of them.

The Galaxy S27 Pro gets a built-in screen privacy mode

This feature would be especially useful in public places, when entering passwords, using banking applications or reading confidential messages. In standard mode, the screen would retain full brightness, wide viewing angles and normal display quality.

Flex Magic Pixel technology supposedly controls the way individual pixels direct light. This would allow the phone to seamlessly switch between standard and private mode without additional accessories and without permanently dimming the screen.

Samsung is also reportedly considering automatically turning on privacy protection. The mode could activate itself when a user opens a banking application, enters a password or accesses sensitive documents.

The Galaxy S27 Pro should fill the space between the Plus and Ultra models. The 6.47-inch screen would be large enough for multimedia and work, but the case would remain more compact than the Ultra device. At the same time, the phone will reportedly not have S Pen support, which would allow more space for other components.

According to unofficial specifications, the device could get a Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor made in a 2 nm process, 12 GB of LPDDR6 memory and up to 1 TB of UFS 5.0 storage space.

A 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom are also mentioned. The battery would reportedly have a capacity of 5,000 mAh, with 45 W cable charging and 20 W wireless charging.

The phone should arrive with One UI 9.5 system based on Android 17 version, with local processing of Gemini and Galaxy AI functions. However, Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the name of the Galaxy S27 Pro, the final specifications or the position of this model within the series.
