One UI 10 should be the tenth major version of the Samsung interface based on the Android system. Since One UI 1.0 was introduced at the end of 2018, Samsung could mark this anniversary with a major redesign, new AI features and better interconnection of Galaxy devices.
Samsung has not yet officially revealed the look of the new interface, but One UI 10 could take elements of the Fluid AI Design System concept, which won a Red Dot Award in 2026. The concept shows transparent apps and glass-like widgets, as well as a circular AI assistant that adapts to the content on the screen.
Such an AI agent could search locations, find calendar items, and perform tasks across multiple apps, services, and devices. The interface would change depending on the context, while animations, lighting and attraction effects would show how the agent collects and processes data.
One UI 10 brings more advanced AI features and is coming to many Galaxy devices
One UI 10 could introduce more customization options, redesigned apps, new widgets, and additional Galaxy AI and Gemini features. Improvements are also expected for Samsung DeX, Secure Folder, foldable phones and devices with large screens.
Since AI agents could access apps and personal data, Samsung could expand the display of the AI Assistant Activity feature. Users would thus see more precisely what tasks the agent is performing in the background. Better connectivity with the Galaxy XR device, smart glasses, Galaxy Ring, TVs and watches is also expected.
According to the current pace of updates, the One UI 10 Beta Program could start in May 2027, while the stable version would debut with the Galaxy Z Flip 9 and Galaxy Z Fold 9 in July. Older supported devices would likely start receiving the update during August 2027.
As expected, the supported phones include: Galaxy S26, S25, S24 and S23 series, including FE and Edge models, while this would be the last major OS update for the S23 generation. Support is also expected for the Galaxy Z Fold 5–8 and Z Flip 5–8 models, including the Ultra and FE versions.
