Film company Lionsgate has confirmed that it is currently preparing big-budget games from its film series John Wick and SAW.
HCL comments: They finally listened to what I advised them back in 2021! Admittedly, there is no concrete reason for great excitement yet – we don’t even know which studio is preparing a John Wick game. All that said is that it won’t be the only Lionsgate franchise to get its own game – we’ll also see new SAW games.
Lionsgate’s franchises don’t usually have the best status in the world of video games. Anyone remember The Expendables 2? It was number 2 for the second Expendables movie, and it’s red on Metacritic with an average score of 34. The same average also boasts 2014’s Rambo: The Video Game, also a game in the Lionsgate franchise. The last Saw game? Passed a little better with an average grade of 45/100.
