Forza Horizon 6 isn’t even out yet, and it’s already set a new record for the series

Players who bought the more expensive edition of Forza Horizon 6 have already managed to set a new record for series activity on Steam.

Forza Horizon 6 it’s not officially out yet – it’s coming out next Tuesday, 5/19. However, those who paid for the most expensive edition of the game (Premium Edition) from 120 euros (!) got early access to the game yesterday.

And although 120 euros is a lot, just as many people paid that amount to play the game earlier.

According to Steam statistics, Forza Horizon 6 was playing simultaneously yesterday 172,093 playerswhich is a new activity record for the Forza franchise. And not only is it a new record, but it’s more than twice as many players as the best score achieved by Forza Horizon 5 four years ago (the previous record was 81,096 concurrently active players).

I will repeat once again – this record was set by those players who were willing to pay 120 euros for the game. And this activity does not even include players who purchased the game on Xbox, Game Pass or the Microsoft Store. Neither did those who downloaded a pirated copy of the game earlier.

The previous Forza Horizon 5 was the most successful racing game after Mario Kart 8 and it attracted more than 53 million players. It will be interesting to see if the sequel can surpass that almost unreal number, but judging by the initial hype, interest in the game is huge.
