From Tuesday, diesel prices will rise – Transport @ Autonet

The Government of the Republic of Croatia passed a new regulation on the determination of the highest retail prices of oil derivatives at a telephonic session, which is valid from this Tuesday, July 14 and lasts for 14 days.

Although the media talked about a big price increase in the past few days, the government decided to lower excise duties and premiums, so fuel prices did not rise as much as originally expected.

New fuel prices per liter

  • Eurosuper 95 – €1.54 (no change)
  • Eurodiesel – €1.59 (increase of €0.05)
  • Blue diesel – €1.02 (increase of €0.06)

The Government points out that prices would be significantly higher without their measures. In that case, gasoline would be 1.66 euros per liter, diesel 1.72 euros per liter, and blue diesel 1.05 euros per liter.

In addition to diesel, the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is increasing, so its price for tanks will be 1.23 euros per kilogram, while the price of LPG in bottles will be 1.81 euros per kilogram. Without government regulations, these prices would be 1.32 euros per kilogram for containers, or 2.02 euros per kilogram for bottles.
