Honor advances its AI vision at MWC 2026 with Robot phone, humanoid robot and Magic V6

Already MWC 2026, Honor advanced its Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) vision and accelerated the implementation of the Alpha Plan through three connected pillars: Alpha Phone, Alpha Store and Alpha Lab. Building on a long-term commitment to developing human-centric AI solutions, Honor has introduced the Robot Phone – a bold exploration of embodied intelligence and a new kind of smartphone that redefines how future AI devices might integrate movement and spatial awareness.

In addition to this futuristic innovation, Honor also presented Magic V6the pinnacle of its foldable technology, combining a revolutionary silicon-carbon battery, advanced display engineering and AI-enhanced productivity in its most sophisticated foldable design yet. Together with the new devices from the ecosystem – Honor MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14 – these announcements further confirm Honor’s strategy of integrating intelligent hardware and software aimed at the real needs of users.

James Li, CEO of Honor, said: “With a human-centered approach as our beacon, we lead the development of artificial intelligence through two strands – IQ and EQ – bringing together the three forms of intelligence. We’re exploring a new paradigm of AI devices through the Alpha Phone; we are developing a new paradigm of the AI ecosystem through the Alpha Store; and we are building a new paradigm of silicon-carbon civilization through Alpha Lab. With three waves of the Alpha Plan, we now have all the key components in place and are moving this transformation into full gear.”

Take a look at the Honor Robot phone: a new kind of smartphone

Telephone robot represents a new kind of smartphone, combining integrated AI interaction with robot-level movements and cinematic shooting capabilities. Instead of reacting exclusively through the screen and voice commands, Honor, figuratively speaking, gives its next generation of devices not only “brains”, but also “arms and legs”, combining artificial intelligence with physical, more expressive interaction through movement and camera movement.

It goes beyond what a static smartphone can offer, bringing more human, expressive interaction to everyday technology and adjusting its perspective in real time. Multimodal perception allows it to recognize sounds, track movement and maintain visual awareness of its surroundings, creating a more natural, sensory and intuitive model of interaction.

The robot phone also introduces integrated AI interaction designed to feel more natural and expressive. It supports AI video calls from all angles, tracking the user thanks to robot-level motion control. The device also responds through “emotional” body language, including expressive nodding and head shaking, and can even dance to the beat of music, bringing a playful and lifelike interaction to the smartphone experience.

Integrating a robot into a smartphone required a complete rethinking of space, durability and weight on a microscopic level. Honor applied high-performance materials and reliability expertise, developed through its flip devices, to the engineering of the Robot Phone, enabling the development of its own micro-motor designed for exceptional compactness and power. By significantly reducing the size of the motor, Honor has managed to integrate an ultra-compact 4DoF gimbal system into the phone, creating the hardware foundation for integrated robot-level motion control.

This mechanical architecture supports a three-axis gimbal stabilization system, ensuring smooth and precise movement even in dynamic environments. Super Steady Video mode further improves stability in high-motion scenarios, while AI Object Tracking allows the Robot Phone to intelligently track subjects in real-time. AI SpinShot further expands creative control, supporting intelligent 90° and 180° rotations for fluid, cinematic transitions – even when shooting with one hand.

Based on a 200MP sensor and a stabilized gimbal camera system, the Robot Phone is designed to allow users to go beyond simply capturing moments and step into capturing life’s stories. Combining advanced stabilization, intelligent tracking and cinematic camera movement, it aims to bridge the gap between smartphone video and professional visual storytelling.

Together, these capabilities show how integrated artificial intelligence can open up new ways of recording and interacting, positioning the Robot Phone as a key step in Honor’s evolution towards more intelligent and adaptive devices. As Honor continues to develop its Alpha plan, the Robot Phone provides a glimpse into how integrated intelligence could shape the next generation of mobile technology.

Honor Magic V6: A new standard in the world of flip phones

While the Robot phone explores the future of integrated intelligence, the Magic V6 represents the pinnacle of innovation in the segment of premium flip devices. Building on Honor’s leadership in flip phone design, the Magic V6 delivers a device engineered for durability, performance and intelligent productivity.

Combining an ultra-slim 8.75mm profile when closed with reinforced structural strength and advanced hinge architecture, the Magic V6 is designed for long-term reliability while maintaining exceptional elegance and slimness. The device has an IP68 certificate of resistance and an IP69 certificate of resistance to water and dust, which further confirms its durability in everyday conditions of use. Inside this ultra-thin clamshell design, Honor integrates its next-generation silicon-carbon battery technology.

Thanks to the partnership with ATL, the Magic V6 uses Honor’s fifth-generation silicon-carbon material, which solves the challenge of achieving a balance between thin design and high energy density. This innovation enables the Honor Magic V6 to reach an industry-leading 25% silicon content, achieving higher energy density in an ultra-thin folding design. The result is a 6,660 mAh battery housed in one of the thinnest flip phones on the market, redefining expectations in terms of autonomy without compromising on design.

At MWC 2026, Honor also presented a next-generation battery innovation – the all-new Honor Silicon-carbon Blade battery, with a 32% silicon content and energy density greater than 900 Wh/L. Designed to enable flip devices to enter the 7,000 mAh era, this battery represents a new step in the development of ultra-thin batteries with extremely high energy density.

The Magic V6 also sets a new standard in flip screen innovation. Its two LTPO 2.0 flagship displays, measuring 6.52 inches on the outside and 7.95 inches when unfolded, offer an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120 Hz, as well as a maximum brightness of up to 6,000 nits on the outer and 5,000 nits on the inner screen for HDR content. The inner screen uses ultra-thin flexible glass with SGS Minimized Crease certification and delivers a 44% reduction in crease visibility compared to the previous generation, creating a flatter and more impressive display surface.

An anti-reflective layer based on silicon nitride reduces reflection to only 1.5%, while advanced 4320 Hz PWM dimming and AI Defocus Display technology contribute to greater comfort during long-term use. Thanks to these innovations, the Magic V6 offers an even more refined and durable experience in everyday use.

When using the large, unfolded screen, AI-enhanced productivity features optimize multitasking, content creation and communication. Cross-ecosystem connectivity tools further increase flexibility, positioning the Magic V6 as a powerful companion device that seamlessly fits and collaborates with the Apple ecosystem.

As the first flip device powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with an advanced vapor chamber cooling system for long-lasting performance, the Magic V6 delivers an extremely smooth gaming experience, efficient multitasking, and reliable operation under demanding workloads. In doing so, it represents the most authentic expression of an AI-era flip device available today – designed to last and be a trusted ally to the user.
