Samsung continues to expand AI capabilities in its ecosystem of devices, and the new version of One UI 8.5 interface system brings an advanced tool for creating personalized backgrounds using artificial intelligence.
Instead of classic static backgrounds, Samsung now allows users to generate images according to their own idea and style.
One UI 8.5 and Creative Studio generate AI wallpapers
The new feature, called Creative Studio, is an expanded version of the tool formerly known as Drawing Assist. This system allows generating images based on text descriptions, drawings or existing photos from the gallery.
Unlike the existing generative tool in the One UI system that uses predefined templates, Creative Studio provides more freedom because the user can enter his own textual description of the image.
The process of creating a wallpaper is simple. Within the background settings, you need to open the “Create with AI” option, where Creative Studio is located. After that, the user chooses the art style in which he wants the image to be generated, then enters a description or can draw a sketch that will serve as a basis.
The AI then generates the image within seconds. If the result does not meet expectations, it is possible to generate a new version with one tap.
One of the practical novelties is that the generated image can be immediately set as a background, without the need to save it in the gallery beforehand.
Creative Studio is currently available on Samsung Galaxy S26 series phones running One UI 8.5 interface. So far, it has not been confirmed whether this feature will be available on older models as well, as there is a possibility that Samsung will keep the tool as an exclusive feature for the latest devices, reports Sammy Fans.
