Peugeot celebrates its centenary at Le Mans with an exclusive GT series

The French brand Peugeot, part of the Stellantis concern, has officially announced an exclusive collaboration with the organization of the 24 Hours of Le Mans to mark the hundredth anniversary of its first participation in this historic competition. The partnership brings together two automotive legends who share equal values such as technological innovation, durability and French prestige, and their collaboration comes, they say, as a natural alliance driven by common ambitions, perseverance and expression of the rich French heritage.

The competitive spirit is deeply woven into the very DNA of Peugeot, which as early as 1894 participated in the first race in the history of motor sports, Paris-Rouen, which was also an endurance race. At the 24 Hours of Le Mans race itself, the French manufacturer made its debut in 1926, in its fourth edition. Exactly one hundred years and three historic victories later, the brand remains a key actor on this track, as confirmed by the participation of two Peugeot 9X8 prototypes in the strongest Hypercar category at this year’s edition of the race.

This limited edition will be available on a wide range of road models, specifically the Peugeot 208, 308, 408, 3008 and 5008, allowing customers to choose the model that best suits their needs.

The design of this celebratory series will be completely unique and will further emphasize the distinctive sporty character of the brand. The visual identity of the vehicle will combine an elegant, deep black color with the official, recognizable blue shade of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The entire series will be technically and aesthetically based on the top GT equipment level, which implies extremely refined finishing and a rich equipment package.
