The campaign for Modern Warfare 4 will be playable a week before the game’s launch


Activision has revealed that players who pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 before its digital release will receive up to seven days of early access to the game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is officially released on 10/23 of this year. However, one part of the game will be available a week before that.

Activision confirmed how it will be done the single-player campaign of Modern Warfare 4 can be played from 16.10. on all platforms (PC, PS5, XS, NS2). Early access to the campaign will be given to customers who pre-order the game before release, but only in digital form. If you reserve a physical copy of the game, you don’t get early access to the campaign.

This is not the first time Activision has used this tactic to boost sales. Actually, this practice started in 2019 with the previous Modern Warfare, but Activision has not used it for the last two years for Black Ops 6 and 7.
