The luxurious Rolls-Royce Specter Series II comes with improved technology and greater range

British super luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has officially announced the launch of the Specter Series II model, which brings a number of technical and creative improvements to the signature electric super-coupe. Since its introduction in 2022, the Specter has positioned itself as one of the most significant modern models of the brand, attracting a lot of attention with its design and driving characteristics. The new series aims to build on that success with a reconfigured powertrain for even quicker response and better driver control.

The most powerful Rolls-Royce ever

Thanks to the new battery cell technology, the engineers managed to increase the vehicle’s potential range by 18%, which according to the WLTP standard now amounts to a total of 628 kilometers. At the same time, the time required to charge the battery was reduced by 14%. The standard model now develops a power of 442 kW, while the torque is 1,015 Nm, but the real power comes to the fore in the sports version.

With this update, the Black Badge Specter Series II has officially become the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever created in the history of this luxury brand. Through a special system called “Infinity Mode”, this car delivers as much as 500 kW of power to the road. For drivers looking for maximum performance, the so-called “Spirited Mode” temporarily raises the maximum torque to 1,100 Nm.

Visual aesthetics

From the outside, the distinctive shape of the fastback profile has been retained, it is decorated with clean surfaces and specific split headlights, which the designers confirm confidence in the original design. However, striking novelties such as a new solid exterior color called “Ethereal Blue” have been introduced. Also of particular note are the new 23-inch forged aluminum wheels with sharp 2.5mm light-reflecting edges, with each individual wheel hand-finished for up to six hours to achieve a diamond-like shine.

The interior of the vehicle brings significant innovations in terms of materials and luxurious workmanship. For the first time, the “Duality Twill” textile was introduced into the Specter model – a modern material made of bamboo, the production of which requires up to 25 hours of work, 16 kilometers of thread and as many as 2.6 million stitches. For aesthetic details, clients can choose from more than 50 different thread colors. On the instrument panel, the new design of the watch inspired by aviation instruments stands out, located inside a glass “showcase”.

Bespoke customization

The demand for personalized “Bespoke” orders for the Specter model is at an extremely high level, and in the brand’s modern portfolio it is surpassed only by the flagship Phantom model. Clients often request more than 20 individual elements per vehicle, which is why the Specter Series II has further expanded the range of materials. A special “Iced Black Exterior Detailing” package was developed for the Black Badge model, which covers almost all shiny surfaces with a matte coating, including the door handles, grille trim and the iconic “Spirit of Ecstasy” statue, while the radiator grills themselves remained polished to preserve the brand’s identity.

For the entry-level model, it will be necessary to allocate around 350,000 euros, but since buyers of this brand almost never take the basic package, the average selling price with accessories and personalizations could approach the amount of half a million euros.
