Samsung next Fan Edition phone, Galaxy S21 FE, has leaked several times over the past few months. Initially, there were concerns that its launch would be canceled, but recent rumors have made it clear that the Korean company intends to launch the phone in early 2022. However, before that, the new leak described in detail almost everything we are interested in about the Galaxy S21 FE.
Although most of the specifications of the device were already known, the new leak gives us more details about the camera and the interior and leaves little imagination. The Galaxy S21 FE should have a flat 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2k screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. It will also have a fingerprint scanner on the screen. Like the regular S21, the Fan Edition will look like a polycarbonate plastic back.
Samsung plans to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chip instead of its internal Exynos 2100 for the S21 FE. According to the leak, the device will be available with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of memory. It will not have a microSD card slot, so expanding the storage will not be possible.
The camera specifications of the device are also described in detail. This suggests that the S21 FE will share the same 12 MP f / 1.8 primary camera with OIS and 1.8 μm pixels from the Galaxy S21. This will be paired with 8MP 3x telephoto zoom with f / 2.4 aperture and OIS. Lastly, there’s the 12MP f / 2.2 ultra wide with a 123 degree field of view. On the front, a 0.8 32m 32MP f / 2.2 camera with an 81-degree field of view will take selfies.
Other important specifications highlighted in the leak include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, eSIM support, wireless charging with PowerShare, NFC and IP68 certification inside the 7.9mm thick case weighing 170 grams. The S21 FE will be powered by a 4500mAh battery with support for fast charging. The device may run with Android 11 / One UI 3.1, but should get an update for Android 12 and One UI 4 soon.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE price
In the United states the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is priced at $699 for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB variant. The 8GB and 256 GB variant is not listed yet but its price could be $799.
The European price for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory should start at 749 euros, while the 8GB / 256GB variant will cost around 819 euros. The Galaxy S20 FE is still a great device even a year after its launch. Judging by the leaked information, the Galaxy S21 FE imposes itself as a great replacement for its predecessor.
