Tesla showed off a new Roadster logo with a brutal look, the supercar is finally coming back to life

On By admin In Technology

Tesla Company has filed new trademark applications for the upcoming Tesla Roadster supercar, and the brand new logo design with an aggressive futuristic look immediately caught the public’s attention.

The most attention was drawn by the triangular shield emblem with vertical lines which, according to the company, symbolize speed, thrust, heat and wind – a clear allusion to the extreme performance of the new Roadster model.

In addition, Tesla registered a completely new “ROADSTER” inscription with large futuristic letters and a segmented construction that further emphasizes the futuristic identity of the vehicle.

This is the first time Tesla has created a special logo for a model since the Cybertruck era

Both applications were filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office in early February 2026 under the “intent to use” category, which means that Tesla plans to use the new marks commercially soon.

This is particularly interesting because after the Tesla Cybertruck model, this is only the second time that Tesla has developed a completely separate visual identity for a single car.

With this, the company is clearly trying to position the Roadster much closer to exclusive supercar brands than standard electric vehicles.

The new Roadster gets more serious proportions and a more mature design

According to the first information, the new Roadster is significantly different from the original prototype presented back in 2017.

The new model reportedly brings:

  • more elegant side lines
  • more serious aerodynamic proportions
  • a more massive and regular roof
  • more aggressive futuristic look

The design now seems much closer to the final production car than the concept shown nearly a decade ago. Today, the Tesla Roadster has become an almost legendary example of a multi-year delay. The car was originally supposed to arrive in 2020, but since then the project has been postponed several times and practically disappeared from the company’s focus.

According to new information, Tesla is now planning a new presentation at the end of May or the beginning of June 2026, while serial production could only begin during the second half of 2027.

Despite the massive delay, the Roadster remains one of the most anticipated electric supercars due to earlier announcements of extreme acceleration, massive range and a possible SpaceX package with additional thrusters.
