Camper equipment for Volkswagen Caravelle and Caddy

Volkswagen has introduced a new, modular package of camping equipment for the Caravelle, Caddy and California Beach Tour models. The set contains a kitchen element, a bed, a water canister and additional storage space. The solution was named “mobile home in a box”.

This year, more people are expected to go on holiday to camps due to road restrictions due to Covid 19. Volkswagen offers kits that fit into existing luggage compartments and make life easier on the road. The kitchen can be opened and activated in a few seconds, and the bed can be stretched in one go.

The most expensive variant of the BusBox costs 4,000 EUR and is compatible with the Volkswagen Caravelle T5, T6 and T6.1 models, and contains a bed, a mattress, a kitchen element, a storage space and a water canister with a tap. The second version does not have a mattress and costs 3,050 EUR.

KombiBox costs 3,300 EUR and is designed for the Caddy model, and comes with a bed, kitchen element, water canister with faucet and space for items. A mattress is available for an additional EUR 500.
